I saw a post on facebook, that was originally posted by YouTube. The Caption read, "Banned Bugs Bunny Racist Scene.............................
What is the purpose of this post, Warner Bros has since moved on and has done a lot of positive things for the black community. This post should be left in the past, where it belongs.
Those of you who are not familiar with Warner Bros. contribute to the black community, here it is............................
10/10/1927- The Jazz Singer starring Al Jolson
1970's
-Roots, Roots And The Next Generations
-Alex Haley's Queen
1980's
- Color Purple
-Lethal Weapon 1&2
1990's
-Family Matters
-Hanging With Mr. Cooper
-The Fresh Price Of Bel-Air
-Living Single
-The Jamie Fox Show
-For Your Love
I'm not even close to naming all the shows that they have and are still contributing to the black community.
Just think of it this way, Paul who used to be Saul, persecuted the Christians. Acts 8:1
Today, however, many Christians love the writings and teachings of Paul.
We as Christians should always look at the actions of someone in the present, if their actions today are positive from their past actions; we should not bring up their past. Remember, God has forgiven our sins and he does not look back and bring up our past mistakes. (That's the devil's forte)
You know the old saying, "What Would Jesus Do?"
I, for one, am going to ignore this post, and I hope that others will as well.
It serves no purpose; but to expose a past mistake, and draw up negative publicity for Warner Bros, that was corrected 100 times over.........................
