Yesterday, I watched the movie "Noah".  I was heart broken to see that it did not resemble the Bible at all.
I wonder is this movie a part of the "many will be deceived" statement? I truly hope not. I hope that Christians can see this movie for what it truly is; a blasphemous attempt to discredit the good name of Noah.

According to the Bible Noah was a righteous man. Genesis 6:9.

Noah's father Lamech died at the ripe old age of 777, not at the hands of a king, when Noah was a little boy. Gen. 5:31

It took 120 years to build the ark. Gen. 6:3

All of Noah's sons were married and entered the ark. Ham did not hide the king in the ark for revenge against his father; for not allowing him to bring a girl on the ark. Gen: 7:13.

No where is it in the Bible that Noah committed murder, by killing this king whom Ham helped get on the ark.

Angels did not fall out of the sky and was turned into giant rocks by God.

The giant rock-angels, In my opinion, is derived from the Bible when it mentions that their were Nephilims on Earth in those days. Gen. 6:4. Nephilim is another name for giants. These giants had daughters, whom God called daughters of men, because they were non-believers in our Creator God. These daughters of men had children with the sons of God, the believers of our Creator God. Gen 6:2-4.  The Bible went on to say that these Nephilim are also on Earth afterwards. You don't believe me check out Gen. 6:4.  They are here on Earth til this very day.  Proof is in the pudding, or should I say "Shaq"?  Need I say more?

BELOVED!!! Please do not be deceived by these movies that are geared to distort the Words of  God. Simply open up your Bible and read!!!  And if you don't understand the verses you are reading just ask God to give you insight.  Trust me he will!!!

UPDATE: DINNER WAS DELICIOUS!!!

My 13 year old, Amber is very upset with me today, because I am making her cook dinner tonight.

 Her complaint is She is just getting home from a long day at school, and I'm making her cook.

 She said a hot meal should already be waiting for her when she comes home.  (She has some nerve, right?)

She complained for about five minutes.  When she was done I told her to start cooking.

Was I wrong????  This is the butterfly my Amber drew.  I figured I'll show her work as well as complain about her.

Not six anymore!!!

God is good.  My co-worker decided to buy 7 seven books instead of six.  She is the only one so far that has bought all 8 books.  She bought my very first book I wrote title "God Made The Dinosaurs And Dragons: On The Sixth Day", back in 2013.

God is good!!! Today a co-worker of mine requested I bring in six of my books so that she can purchase them tomorrow. Praise God!!! That's the most anyone has ever requested from me!!

I am embarrassed to say that My "Number one online customer had a Birthday yesterday, and I am a day late in wishing her a Happy Birthday. Ohhhh the guilt I feel. But knowing Ms. Gloria Cain, she takes it all in stride. Gotta love her.  So here's Wishing Ms. Gloria Cain a Very Happy Birthday, and MANY, MANY, MANY, MORE!!!

A Sad, Sad Day!!

Today is a very sad day for me.  My right hand man and biggest supporter is returning to college tonight.  Austin, you will be missed!!!!

A Frown For The Day!! Plus "Her Favorite Pages"

I ended my workday with a frown.  My beautiful daughter Amber avoided me today. (sniff, sniff) I decided to let her have it in a way where she would feel guilty for the rest of her life. You know the usual words like "disappointed", "hurt feelings",  "how could you".  I couldn't wait till she came home. I have to admit I had a devilish grin on my face when I got home, I opened the door, and guess who was there?..........

Did you guess right?  It was my precious daughter Amber. (ohhh the guilt I felt).  Apparently, her bus was a no show. Yes you read it right, her school bus did not show up, and the School Board never sent a replacement. She decided tomorrow she would ride with me to school, because she hates to miss days from school.  I warned her that I have to get up pretty early in the morning. She said she didn't mind.

For those of you who thinks she could have lied, she didn't.  I believed her before I called the school to report her absence and why.  Long story shot, The lady I spoke with confirmed that a bus did not show.

FUN, but EXHAUSTING!!! as well as a New Dawn has arrived.

Yesterday was a very fun day with Janaya. However, it was also very exhausting. The little bully demanded for me to read all 8 books that I wrote, and then demanded that I read her dad's book over and over again.  My ex-husband came over (she calls him Pop Pop.) She also demanded that he read her dad's book. He did oblige her.  My son Austin finally gave me a break and took her to the pool. I was so tired that I could not post this information until today.

Well a new dawn has arrived for Amber my 13 year old.  She is going to High School today.  My little ninth grader said that she is both excited and nervous.  

Good news for me, it appears that my daughter will not be like her brother Austin, who would pretend he didn't know me when he attended the High School where I work as a lunch lady.  Yeah!!! My daughter is Awesome!!!  Okay Austin is awesome too, but when he was at school, he always tried to hide from me.

Will Amber, continue to want to see her Mommy, everyday?
Only time will tell.

She's a Daddy's Girl!!

My g-baby came over tonight a little after 8:00. I was so happy to see her.  She made her daddy read the book he wrote her, several times, and then she came to me to read to her several more times.  Needless to say the book I read her at bedtime was...............

What could she possibly Want?!!

Wow, I checked my facebook and had over 20 notifications. They were all from my 13 year old daughter, Amber. She has liked all of my recent blogs. That is so unusual for her. Awww, maybe she's growing up. Mommy loves you pumpki..... Hey, wait a minute, she must want something from me.  Well in the words of my brother Newell Duran to my sister Mary, " I don't have any money."

Four for the money!!!

It is official, my Uncle Ronnie has purchased 4 of my 8 books. PRAISE GOD!!! The books he has purchased are The Cool Miracles From Jesus: The Shape Shifter part one, A disappearing Act part two, and Peter's Invisible Escape part three.  He also bought  A Hunt For the Truth. I guess he will be reading them to his grand kids.
 My daughter Amber has finally jumped on the band wagon. Now she misses Janaya too. She even want her to spend the night tomorrow.  I can't believe it. But she made it clear to me just one night only.

Gone, but not forgotten!!

No g-baby, she started daycare today. I miss her so much, Austin misses her so much, Amber says she doesn't miss her at all.  Sorry Jonathan, I mean J. Green. Your sister and your daughter are just too much alike.
Well since I am no longer reading to my Janaya, I guess I'll just have to show you guys her favorite pages out of each book.  WOW!!! I tried to get her to say "dove", but she would actually argue with me and say no "G", that's a bird.

I had every intentions of doing absolutely nothing today. My g-baby had other plans. She chooses several pages out of her dad's book and requested, (no not quite the word I'm looking for), "DEMANDED", (yeah that's the word), that I put them on the computer. Then she had me to read them over and over. When she ran off to harass her Aunt Amber, I had an idea to post it on my blog as well.  So enjoy her favorite things, I mean pages. Janaya is an Oprah Winfrey wanna be, minus the free gifts.

I think she likes this last page because her Cousin Teness' is the person she wants to be around at family functions, and she remembers her Uncle Duran from preaching at Church. She says his name practically every day.  It's kind of annoying. :) 

Reflections!!!

This has been a crazy week. As I reflect on it, I really have to give God the Glory and Thanks.

It was a joy to receive strange stares from the McDonald's crew when my g-baby let out an horrible squeal unknown to mankind, and when  Austin and Janaya (my g-baby) were reprimanded in the library. It simply means I have my g-baby this summer and I am spending time with her.

I thank you Lord for the precious gift of first giving me my g-daughter, and then allowing her to visit me.

I love that she wants us to read to her, especially her dad's book. (by the way that was the book she chose for me to read to her yesterday.)

When my internet went out it gave us some much needed time in air conditioned places, hours on end. It was really a change from my hot house.


My crazy, crazy, week, turned out to be a blessing from God.

1. Comcast finally fixed the internet problem I had. You are not going to believe what the problem was; My lawn man cut the cable!! Has this ever happened to anyone else?


2. My son Jonathan, (opps! I meant J.T Green), book is available on amazon.com books.  It is titled "The Adventures of Janaya and Me!!"   "YEAH"

3. My Uncle Ronnie has placed an order for two of my books titled: "Cool Miracles From Jesus: The Shape Shifter, and "A Hunt For The Truth".  Praise God!!

Had a long day with the g-baby. Pool and lot's of playing it took a long time for her to take a nap, and when she did, Amber and I had to sneak out today. Poor Austin, if she awakes before we return. Therefore I can't be long. Don't judge us, after the McDonald's stares the other day, and the reprimand from the librarian yesterday, we had to leave that adorable, hyper active little,  (Amber's word), "monster" home today.

My word is "pumpkin'"

She didn't request any books today, just play, play, play.

Comcast is suppose to come tomorrow and finally fix our internet problem. Please pray that all goes well.

Well it's time for us to go, but before we do we "MUST" order chicken nuggets, to appease the wrath of "JANAYA."

TROUBLES!!!

Today is just one of those days.
1. Comcast  was a no-show, which means I still have to go to the  library or McDonald's to use the internet.
(always a hassle).
2. My 13 year old daughter (Amber), told me to blog that her metro pcs phone deleted all of her music and photos. (ATTITUDE CITY!!!).
3. Janaya is so loud and thinks she can play at the library that she and Austin were told to stop playing. (I pretended I didn't know them).

Hopefully the pool will prove to be a turning point to a crazy day. :)

Janaya actually had me to read "ALL" of the books today, before we left the house. (That is always a good thing).

UH Oh, skies just turned gray and it is now lighting. What a funny, funny, day. :)

Spotted a type"O", I just had to correct it.  I know it was 2 days ago when I blogged it, but......................

Janaya's "BIG SUPRISE" Is Avaliable!!!

Janaya's father, (my first born), wrote a book titled, "The Adventures Of Janaya And Me!!" 

I'm so excited for those two. 

Guess what my first born did?  He dedicated his book to his daughter, of course, 

and to someone he has not met yet. 

Her name is Clara Hite, she is a co-worker of mine, and he dedicated the book to her, because she

" uttered words of encouragement over him", (his words)

Books, Books, Books!!!

Happy Monday everyone!! Books, books, books. They are all around me. I'm at the library today and their WiFi isn't any better than McDonald's. Can you believe that?

 No g-baby today, she was a no-show. I think she would have loved to be here today. She has some very, very, very good news coming to her soon.........
But until then, "mums" the word............

The app Austin is working on is still challenging, but he is persistent, pray that all goes well for him.

It's an internet thing!!

"Happy Sunday All."  Hello everyone, sad news. My internet is out and I'm reduced to going to McDonald's for WiFi services. McDonald's is not much better, all it does is load for a long time. This is my only shot to connect to you all today before I'm loading, and loading, and loading............ again.

The Comcast technician is suppose to fix the problem on Wednesday between 8-10 am. Pray that he can fix  my internet.

God willing I hope to connect with my facebook and blogger family and friends on Wednesday.

Who's the boss??

Little Ms. Janaya, bossy toddler, she tells the three of us how the day is going to go. From her breakfast, to her drinks, to her clothes, and hair. We all comply as if ruffling her feathers is a sure way of experiencing her wrath. Sometimes however, the 13 year old forgets her place and will not back down from the 3 year old. It's actually funny to see them go at it. Sadly to say, when those two bump heads, no one wins because neither one gives in. Janaya will soon learn her personality is so much like her Aunt Amber.

Their relationship is going to be interesting to see in the years to come.

Janaya only chose one book today. God Made The Dinosaurs and Dragons. I think she loves saying the word Behemoth.  She told her Uncle Austin he looks like a Behemoth.

Speaking of Austin, he is currently making an app for my books alone with a game. This task seems to be a bit of a challenge for him. However, I know eventually he will succeed.
