Did God Do That??!!

Lately, I have been seeing a lot of distasteful post about our President Obama. Believe it or not these post are from Christians. (Myself included).  We as Christians should keep in mind that God is the One who has placed President Obama in that position.

Yes, Christians "God Did That!!!

Romans 13:1 says...Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for their is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
 13:2 says...Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

I for one will change my ways. I just don't want that judgement on me anymore.

My son Austin said to me during our discussion about this, "If people didn't rebel the same plethora of evil acts that continued years ago would continue today.  (He has a good point doesn't he?) I explained to him that God has a way of working it out, in His time. He will appoint the people he wants to stand up against evil.

 Trust me Christians, that person(s) will not be distasteful as we have been. (i.e. Moses, Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr., Why even King David never rebelled against King Saul, and King Saul was trying to kill him.) I Samuel 18:10 says ....Saul had a sphere in his hand, I Samuel 18:11 says and he hurdled it, saying to himself, "I'll pin David to the wall." But David eluded him twice. I Samuel 26:9 says...But David said to Abishai, "Don't destroy him! Who can lay a hand on the Lord's anointed and be guiltless."

Romans 9:17 says For the scriptures says to Pharaoh; "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the Earth."

Galatians 5:10 I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view.  The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty whoever it may be.

Therefore Christians, God's Got This!! He places non-believers to serve his purpose and anyone who does not lead by God's standards, will pay His penalty.

Remember Roman's 8:28 says...And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.  God will work it out!

Fear about where the President is leading America, I think not!!

. Isaiah 41:10 says...So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

We should pray for our leaders. I Timothy 2:1 says... I urge, then, first of all, that request, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-(verse 2 says) for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all Godliness and Holiness.

What Would Jesus Do??!! He didn't rebel against the leaders, He let go and let God!!

To summarize:

God Did Do That!! (Placed Obama in office)
Don't rebel against authority!!
God places unbelievers in office to show His Power.
Leaders who do not follow God, will pay the price.
God will always work it out!!
Fear not!! God's got this!!
Pray for our leaders.
Do what Jesus did, let go and let God!!

Our constant bashing of our President has to end.  Just keep in mind, God Did Do That!!

Does Florida Have The Numbers???!! Don't Kill The Messenger!!

Due to the new law that passed on January 6, 2015, I am very concerned if Florida has the numbers.  What numbers you ask?  The numbers needed to keep the protective hand of God over us.

In the days of Lot, his city was destroyed because they just didn't have the numbers. Read Genesis 18:17-33.

Florida may loose God's protection due to the new law that coincides with the scriptures of  Genesis 19:1-11. (especially 4-9)

If our numbers are down , (God will decide on the number) then we can surely believe that God will remove his protective hand from Florida.  I do not pretend to know in what way, but what I do know is that "God does not change!!"

 Just read Numbers 23:19, I Samuel 15:29, Psalm 55:19, Malachi 3:6

What God has said is a sin many many years ago, is still a sin today.  I know of the backlash I will receive, but hey don't kill the messenger.  It is God who calls this act a sin.

Therefore, Christians in Florida, we must all pray that our numbers are still up, otherwise, we are going to see something happen in Florida that will not have a positive outcome.

I for one will pray hard that our numbers are still up, and let all Floridians ride on the backs of Christians who help keep the protective hand of God over our State.  

Parent's Really Don't Understand??!!

I've missed you guys, but the flu had a longgggg conversation with me and requested that I only hang out with him for the past three weeks.  He must be sleeping because he is allowing me to speak with you all today.

Last night I received another poem from Amber Michelle, my 14 year old, and yes she is "venting," again. According to Ms. Amber, Parents really have no understanding of the world of teens. Do any of you agree with that??!!

In my defense, I'm really not that bad, otherwise, I would not allow her to post this poem on her facebook and writer's page. I "DEFINITELY" would not post it on my blog for you guys to see.

Just keep in mind that she is a teenager, and they can be a bit high strung. I'm just saying.

Enter My World

The teen yells and yells,
yet you're missing the point.
Calling out loud and strong;
I try to reach you,
but instead you reach me.

My world is a mystery to you.
Although, I invite you in,
you seem to pull me out.
Your voice drowns mine,
causing patience to wear thin.

You go through so much trouble,
making others come to you.
You will not take three steps to journey
into someone else's world.

My g-son (Jeremiah), born 12/22/14, came over to visit me on New Years eve. This was a bittersweet visit, I was sick with the flu and was unable to get close to him.

 Here is what happened, my son was holding Jeremiah as he slept. I looked at the two and thought to myself, "He's not holding Jeremiah correctly," apparently, his mother thought the same thing;  because she told my son to lift him up, she then preceded to move Jeremiah herself. Wrong move!!! Jeremiah  let out this one, loud, piercing  squeal. That was all it took, for Ms. New Mommy, to back away.

He slept happily ever after.  Well... until he woke up hungry and voiced very loudly the things that he wanted.

Jeremiah's mother and I had learned a valuable lesson that day. "Do not interfere with father and son bonding time!!" No matter how uncomfortable it may look.  (Thanks for reading my 2 blogs in one)

I Love My G-Son!!!

It's Not ME!! But It's Still In The Family!!!

I have to give a "Shout Out!!" to a co-worker, for my son, Austin Bryant. "Woot, Woot!!" to Mrs. Shelby Jackson, for being the first person to purchase my son's books this year. I know it's not my books, but it's still in the family.  Mrs. Jackson purchased the "We Don't Like Halloween, " and "My Thanksgiving Story!!".
